Please be aware that Broadstone Engage is not available to members of all pension schemes administered by Broadstone. We will make every effort to provide you with continuous access to the Broadstone Engage website but cannot guarantee its availability at all times. We will not be liable to you if for any reason the Broadstone Engage website is unavailable at any time or for any period. If you are unable to access the website and would like to check your pension benefits or send us an instruction, please contact the Broadstone administration team by emailing pensions.admin@broadstone.co.uk.
Broadstone Engage is provided on an ‘information only’ basis. This means that the information published or displayed on the website does not constitute financial advice, promotion or a recommendation for you to take any particular course of action. Broadstone does not provide individual financial advice to members; if you make any decisions in relation to your pension account you should seek independent financial advice from a suitably authorised adviser. We will make reasonable effort to ensure the information provided through Broadstone Engage is current and correct. However, we cannot guarantee that all information will be error free. In particular, some information may be provided by a third party (for example, an external investment manager) and we are not liable for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions in the information they have provided. Any fund values, projected future values or benefit projections calculated using the interactive tools within Broadstone Engage are not guaranteed and are provided for illustration purposes only.
Your data
Your personal data is held and processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the pension scheme to which your Broadstone Engage access relates. You can view your pension scheme’s Privacy Policy on the ‘scheme information’ page after logging in to Broadstone Engage, or you can request a copy by contacting Broadstone.
Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login information, such as your username and password. You must not disclose your login information to anyone else. We recommend you change your password on a regular basis and do not use the same password for Broadstone Engage as you use for any other online account. Any instructions sent or actions undertaken through the website using your login information will be treated as a genuine request made by you. Members are responsible for any losses arising from actions undertaken through Broadstone Engage using your login details.
If you believe your account information has been compromised, please change your password and then contact Broadstone immediately on 0117 937 8700 to notify us of the issue.
Contact details
Any requests made or actions undertaken through Broadstone Engage will be confirmed to you via email. It is your responsibility to keep your email address up to date. Email confirmations will be sent whenever any of the following occur (this list is not exhaustive):
- you change your contact details
- you change your email address (in this situation an email will be issued to both the old and new email address)
- you send a message through Broadstone Engage
- Broadstone responds to a message through Broadstone Engage
- you give an investment instruction
- you change your password
If you receive an email from Broadstone or Broadstone Engage that you did not expect or initiate, it is possible your account information has been compromised. Should this occur, please change your password and then contact Broadstone immediately on 0117 937 8700 to notify us of the problem.
Electronic communications
By registering to access Broadstone Engage you are giving your consent to the Trustees of your pension scheme to send scheme information to you electronically where they consider it appropriate to do so.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the English courts are to have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes or claims which may arise pursuant to or in connections with these terms and conditions.
